FrostBit is a Software laboratory of the Lapland University of Applied Sciences, where teams from three centers of expertise work on multidisciplinary projects, educational processes and RDI activities. The game team designs and implements games and gamified environments utilizing the latest immersive technologies such as virtual, mixed and augmented reality. The environments created range from educational games to visualizations and simulations in many different professions and industries. The solutions serve as learning environments and design tools for teachers, students and experts in the field, and we are constantly working on various research, development and innovation projects.
FrostBit’s Full Stack & AI team has extensive experience in software development, from web and mobile applications to data and AI solutions. The team manages the entire development cycle from the user interface to the backend systems and the software production process, utilizing DevOps practices, among others. Expertise in machine learning, AI model development, server maintenance and administration, and data analytics enables the construction of versatile intelligent solutions.
ARC team of FrostBit is experienced in the application of Robotics, AI, cyber-physical systems as well as in the latest communication technologies. The solutions created include e.g. various robotic platforms and IoT systems that are used both in education and research. The team works actively on a variety of research. development, and innovation projects.
